Kitchen Relocation: Upland

We added 400 square feet to the north end of the house; the new location of the kitchen.  Along with the foundation, framing, drywall and stucco, additional prep work was required for plumbing new drain and water lines, adding electrical circuits and branched air conditioning/heating ducts to service the new heart of the home.  The high ceilings coupled with the skylights and tall casement windows give this home a bright and airy outdoor feeling; the view of the nearby mountains adds a little influence too… Mother nature and some other forces were definitely on our side as we completed the addition in 10 weeks.  Wow!
